Why on earth does the tavern stop working around 7:30 PST?

Every single night, without fail, when the clock his 7:30, the tavern becomes impossible to use; pages just refuse to load until sometimes around 7:45-8:00. Why on earth is this?

Can corroborate, on EST and it gives out every night at 10:30PM, which matches up with 7:30PM PST. I always assumed it was some kind of maintenance, but every night seems a bit frequent...

That's the time when the moderators get together for a round (or two) of drinks, and obviously the Tavern can not be open while unmoderated.

Seriously though, I have no idea, and I doubt any of the other mods do either, though I think they're all more technically proficient than me and might have better guesses. I bet Napkin could figure it out, if anyone feels like PMing him and drawing his attention to this thread.
