Stuck with console

Just installed Ubuntu 16.04 on my x201 ThinkPad. Downloaded DCSS, but not getting graphic tiles, only console. I ran lspci -k to define the version of my graphics driver:
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)
Subsystem: Lenovo Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller
Kernel driver in use: i915
Kernel modules: i915
Any ideas?

What (and how) exactly did you download and install? The tiles (graphical) and console versions are separate executables, so probably you just need a different download.

in Terninal:

echo 'deb https://crawl.develz.org/debian crawl 0.18' | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list

wget https://crawl.develz.org/debian/pubkey -O - | sudo apt-key add -

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install crawl

sudo apt-get install crawl-tiles

Looks like you have both. What happens when you run crawl-tiles from the command line in a terminal?

Works, not skilled enough with Linux to be comfortable with terminal. Maybe someday, before I die. I locked it to launcher.
