... just tried a few hours of Dwarf Fortress. Interesting game -- but one of the things it did was make me realize how much thought and effort went into Crawl's user interface. So, thanks!

Agreed, a lot of users say that the DF interface is really powerful when you get to used to it, but I strongly, strongly disagree even after months of playing. Crawl definitely has the best interface out of any dungeon crawl I've seen.
