Make options

Hi all,

what's the difference between these commands executed from source directory:

  Code:
make
make WEBTILES=y

I see that the second one creates a crawl binary file like that compiled by make and what else?

Thanks.

Re: Make options

WEBTILES+y changes the crawl binary to support webtiles connections (see the -await-connection) help option which is added.

Okay; honestly, I don't know yet if a "Crawl-webtiles" packaging is useful or not for end users.
I chose to compile 'crawl-console' and 'crawl-tiles' only, for now.

Re: Make options

It wouldn't be, that mode is only used by people running online servers.
