Tavern view problem

A small issue, probably with an obvious solution, but extremely annoying, as I do not know the solution. So, usually the name of the poster is shown in the upper-left corner of the post (next to the title). But sometimes this changes, the poster's name appears in the upper-right corner ("by XY"), with such tiny letters that it's hard to find and hard to read. I don't know what causes this, and I can't find a solution on the control panel.

Oh, and in the case of some posts, the poster's name is not displayed at all, anywhere. More fun.

I've never seen this happen. I view the forum in Safari on a Mac and IE on Windows. Also mobile safari on an iPod from time to time.

What are you using?

Can you link to a post where the name is in the wrong place? You can right-click on the red or grey triangle beside the post date to get a link to a particular post.

What I do see is the date and the link to the post disappearing when posts are thanked.

I use Firefox in Windows.

The name appears in the upper-right corner in all unthanked posts, and, you are right, when a post is thanked (by anyone) then the date and name disappear completely.

Also, when I thanked, an error message popped up:

There's a tiny stupid arrow thing to the right of names, when you click it, the names all vanish. Is that the thing you're meaning?
