Hi there,

the Windows Tiles version of the game won't start. The process just immediately ends itself; no window even opening, no error message. I've tried both the 64 and 32 bit version, on various places on my drive. I've tried various compatibility settings, run as administrator, and all the usual trickeries.

I'm running 64bit Win7 Home Premium via Bootcamp on a MacBook Pro. Please don't judge.
I'd just play the online version, but I really like the tiles and besides, my internet connection is fairly bad.

Any help is appreciated!

1. Have you tried using the mac os version?
2. That probably means something is missing, one of the problems with tiles is that the error messages don't have anywhere to go, try opening a command window and running it from the command line, you may see some missing error messages there.

3. If the game crashes you should have a crash log in your morgue or save folder (I forget which now) that may also provide a hint as to what is wrong.

Opening via console yielded the following error message:
