Windows 0.16 installation oddities

So usually when I get a new version of Crawl I download the 'unified installer package'. I double-click that bad boy and hey presto, the new version is installed over the old, into the same directory, keeping the high scores list from the previous version etc. All v agreeable.

0.16 is a zip exclusively? I've just extracted the folder alongside 0.15, does it matter where I run it from?

Also, the init.txt for 0.16 is really short, what am I missing doggs?

The init file is short because for some inexplicable reason they've decided to take out all of the commented options. All the options are default, you just can't see any of them. If you want to change the defaults you have to look them up and add them to your file yourself.

And then how to get back the morgue files into the game?

I paste my morgue files into the "morgue" folder in th egame directry, nothing happens

If you mean into the "High scores" section of the starting menu, you need to find the file named "hiscores" in the old directory, and move it to the corresponding place in the new directory.
