I messed with things a bit too much and now sometimes unpredictable things happen. Can't we just go back to the way it was?

You can easily erase and save your rcfile in Virus with :%d, enter, :wq.

In case it's not clear: the default rcfile now contains only comments, so a blank file will have the same effect on your game.
