Is there an easy way to get the old tile graphics?

Problems running or configuring the software, commands & options, compiling, different platforms, using the interface, documentation, etc.

Is there an easy way to get the old tile graphics?

I want to play the newest version of the game but with the old tiles. The new tiles look a lot more disgusting and realistic, the old ones were cuter.

Failing an actual way to revert, is there a place where all the tile graphics are dumped somewhere?

Some old tiles are in rltiles/UNUSED, but probably the easiest way to get the old tiles would be to download an older version and copy them over. You'd have to compile it afterwards, though.

If you're willing to dig around, Gitorious's history function will show you all the commits that have changed a file, and you can use those to find what you're looking for.

Looks like Gitorious is about to end support by the end of May - see there website

System notice: Gitorious is being acquired by GitLab and gitorious.org will shut down end of May. Please import your repositories to GitLab.com - Read about it

You can use https://github.com/crawl/crawl/commits/ ... ce/rltiles instead, which also has a much better interface.
