Portrait vs. Landscape on Android?

I've been playing on the Android webtiles app and i find with the recommended Hacker's keyboard it works quite well... in portrait mode. In landscape mode it doesn't scale properly; the tiles themselves shrink to ant-sized levels of unintelligibility while the HUD, minimap and message box stay the same size . I am aware you can zoom in and out by pinching with two fingers, this is not what I'm talking about. This appears to be an issue with the way the elements are arranged and scaled; even with both landscape and portrait keyboards taking up 35% of the screen height, landscape is signifigantly less playable because all the HUD stays in the same configuration without compensating for the change in orientation. I've attached two examples so you can see what I mean. Is this a known occurrence? Are there any settings within Hacker's Keyboard or the DCSS app to fix this?
Any insight or comments would be very much appreciated!

Re: Portrait vs. Landscape on Android?

I wasn't aware that the dcss app was a version of webtiles:
This might help me work around an issue I'm dealinng with playing webtiles on chrome from android... Thanks! XD

In the settings for hacker's keyboard there is an individual option for a four or five row keyboard layout for both landscape and portrait mode;
This might help you at least a little bit, hopefully.
Anyways, thanks for inadvertantly helping me find a possible workaround for my issue. :lol:
