Spell memorzing change in 0.8?

Spell memorzing change in 0.8?

When I finished memorzing a new spell, the mini map vanished. This change seems unnecessary because I can still press "X" or left click the mini map to examine level map.

It even sounds like a bug that has already been reported and fixed.
