Make Corona show a halo

I find myself hardly using Corona because it's effect is so ... subtle. I'm willing to accept that it does actually improve my chance to hit and that it's worthwhile using, but it's just so ... unsatisfying.

I think it would be good if monsters with Corona would show the same halo that monsters with TSO's aura have, that white circle.

I didn't think this is a bug, more a feature request, and I wanted to see what people thought.

He means suggestions left on the forum can be ignored and die (although occasionally galehar swoops in and implements something on the spot :P ). Things tracked on mantis have much better odds of getting done. There isn't actually a joke- it's just that something that amounts to nothing is a joke.

And yeah, there's pretty much no reason not to make the request there. A visual indicator in tiles is totally appropriate.

Seriously though, I don't see why a visual indicator would be a bad thing, or why a halo in particular would be. The spell description explicitly says it outlines targets in light, and that's what the halo tile does.

I see. Minmay thought my solution was so dumb that there's no way I could possibly have been serious about it. I think Minmay should have a more open mind because as mageykun points out, it is entirely reasonable. Nuff said.

Okay yes, I misspoke, I meant the halo tile. I can see why you might have thought that I was suggesting an over-the-top, slightly ridiculous solution.

Incidentally, does Corona render an invisible creature visible?

I don't much care what the indicator is. I've noticed that slow is another effect with no visual indicator and that I also tend to not use because I don't get much of a sense that it does anything. In my last game I actually did start to use both and saw that they helped.

My biggest problem using Corona / Slow is that I often don't notice when a) the spell doesn't work or b) it runs out, especially during extended / large battles. So I totally support the idea of any sort of visually indicator for these.
