Legrun god of mortality.

Legrun
God of suffering, diseases, and mortality.

Likes: You being sick, you being poisoned, you being nauseous, you rotting, making other monsters sick, poisoned or rotting. Killing the undead or demons. (piety would have a chance to increase per turn you or another monster is sick/poisoned)

Hates: Undead beings are unable to worship. Using healing wands or potions (penance). Exploring for elongated periods with out indulging in suffering (being sick, poisoned, nauseous). Necromutation gets you excommunicated.

Following increase as piety increases:
Sickness and rotting has a chance of increasing a stat instead of lowering one and a chance of increasing your HP temporarily instead of losing it.(at high piety levels you would always gain a point instead of losing one, but it would be capped in some way, rotting HP would be lost very quickly and hard capped at 25% of your normal max)
Poison has a chance of healing you for the same amount it would normally damage you. (at high piety it would heal your more than hurt you)

- The smelly
Legrun Gift: Gives you, nause, illness or you start roting at random. Costs health, food.
* Pox ridden
Nothing.
** The toxic
Mortaliy's Gift: Restores life to every demon or undead in line of sight. This makes them vunerable to fear, torment, poison, etc. But takes away their holy weakness. Cost's piety, food, moderate amount of health.
*** Pox Lord
Purge- Allows you to vomit on the ground causing a cloud based on your current status. Being poisoned makes a poison cloud, sick makes Mephitic Cloud, rotting makes miasma. Removes current illnesses. Huge food cost, health.
***** Plague Giver
Gift of the plague: You and everybody in your LOS rots, confuses, poisons, bleeds, and moves you at a random position. Piety, health, food.

Gifts
He gifts you mutations that interact with rot.

Any input?

Re: Legrun god of mortality.

Demons, and undead for the most part, don't leave corpses. Why raise them anyway if they aren't friendly except for some piety grind. I don't think it is possible to get to one star unless the character is high level and can deal with benefit-free rotting and all that good stuff that actually isn't good when you start with the god. And even then you get nausea on top of the nausea you'd already get from eating, which is a feature of this god, and still all the abilities cost food. A cloud-causing vomit? Really? really??? This is a weird, bad idea

Re: Legrun god of mortality.

The easiest status effect to inflict on yourself is poison, and exploring while poisoned prevents you from using autoexplore. This makes the idea unusable.

Re: Legrun god of mortality.

I'm shaky on the god as a whole, but the Purge ability sounds friggin' hilarious. Not to mention gives some use for those potions of paralysis/confusion etc.

Also, if I understand correctly, the Gift of Life ability doesn't RESURRECT demons, it "returns life to them" in the sense that it makes them mortal, and thus vulnerable to sickness, fear, poison, and such.
