Unseen Horrors
I understand invis enemies can add some flavour and interesting difficulty - but unseen horrors have never really been anything but popcorn, or a complete nuisance to me if I don't have Sinv.

I wouldn't mind so much, but I had one on one level, so I dived, The next level had two. I killed one, avoided the other and went back up. Then got killed by the one on the level above.
Perhaps I'm missing something but I'm not sure how I could have avoided this aside from spamming consumables and hoping for the best. Both levels were very open, so no chance to lure into a corridor. I had no options to see invisible and really no other way to deal with them that I'm aware of.
I'm not saying remove them, but 3 of them across 2 adjacent levels is RNG badness (bad luck, I can accept!) But i propose making them slower - or making them fade in and out of visiblity at least. A bat that hits like a truck and moves two tiles away from you before you can react while staying invisible just plain sucks when the RNG machine gives you no Sinv
