Transmuter question

Silly question, but why don't transmuters start with Fullsome Distillation pre-memorized?

You'd need to ask a dev for a definitive answer, but being a fan of Tm, my answer is that it depends on the approach you want to take with them. Some players don't want to go the Distillation/Evaporate route, and so starting with Distillation memorized is a waste of a spell level.

It's the best Tm starting spell for building your Transmutations skill through victory dancing, yes, but it's also dual-schooled, which can get in the way for some builds. Particularly bare-handed Tms -- getting Necromancy and a pain weapon doesn't help if your preferred weapon is Blade Hands.
