Idea: Grey Misty Cube

A rare and randomly placed object similar to a teleport trap. Upon walking into it, you are either (75%) transported to a random location in the branch and level of your choice; or (25%) you are transported to a completely random branch/level.

Those of a certain age may find this cube oddly familiar.

If you can choose the level, you would always choose a safe level.
If you are transported to a completely random branch/level, then that is a high chance of instant death in the early game.

If the idea is some sort of referential joke, then it doesn't belong in game design discussion.

You'd save it to get a hell rune or something but yea it's mostly not something you'd want to use.
