Mark portal sounds on minimap?

Mark portal sounds on minimap?

On levels with portal vaults I find myself using single-tile exclusions to record where I heard a 'very distant' versus 'distant' versus 'nearby' noise. Would it be possible to do this on the minimap automatically? I'm imagining it displaying all tiles that could contain the timed portal, based on the sounds you've heard so far, with some extra hue.

You don't know the minimap of the area which you haven't explored (where the portal would be located). What you are proposing will still be useful, but probably less than you think.

This is really up there with "Being unable to eat prevents the eating of chunks" on the list of things that didn't need clarification.
