Slight increase to caster starting MP

Slight increase to caster starting MP

FR: Give caster characters one or two more points of starting MP. This would make wiffing on spells at XL:1 much less painful

Per learndb, the current MMP formula is: min(23, XL) + skill + min(4, min(XL, skill) / 2)

That weird last term means an extra point of MMP when both Spellcasting skill and XL reach the following breakpoints: 2,4,6,8.


I suggest changing the formula to: min(25, XL) + skill + min(2, skill/2)

This would greatly speed up the first two "extra" points, but push the last two to XL 24 and XL25.

skill = max(Spellcasting, Evo/2, Invo/2). This is probably an extremely tiny nerf to non-casters characters who care about MP from invocations or evocations

TLDR on this suggestion:

Currently most races with caster starts will begin the game with 3 max mana and then increase to 5 max mana at XL:2. I would like them to start with 4 mana and then increase to the same 5 max mana at XL 2.
