Gozag and collection of gold

Throughout game gozagites produce many piles of gold. Gathering them takes almost as much turns as actual fighting - which not only affects score, but can be dangerous in some areas with fast roaming monsters such as Abyss, Pandemonium and Hell. Doing so through apportation is faster, but very tedious.

This situation can be improved in several ways.

  • Passive gold collection. All visible gold instantly gets into player's account. This has a flaw of not seeing corpses turning into gold piles, which is amusing, especially when monsters explode.
    • This can be extended to autocollection of scrolls and potions, justified by Gozag being inventory-based god.
    • Blood stains could be replaced with golden dust.
  • Same, but only happens when there are no visible monsters around.

Re: Gozag and collection of gold

To preserve the amusement, make gold piles actively chase the player. They can merge if they end up on the same square to avoid having potentially thousands of piles chasing the player all at once.
