Uskayaw pain bond and neutral monsters

So I'm with Uskayaw, killed Pikel and the slaves turned neutral. A minivault with a human and hogs was nearby. As I killed some hogs, Uskayaw created the pain bond and next thing I know, the freed slaves share the pain and turn hostile.

I don't think this is right. Should I report this as a bug?
