Posted: Tuesday, 1st November 2016, 23:57NetHack also has bats, long swords, polearms, wizards, vampires, vampire bats, liches, gold pieces, fireball, amulets of reflection, ring mail, cloaks of invisibility, cloaks of magic resistance, gauntlets of dexterity, rings of protection, wands of digging, wands of polymorph, wands of teleportation, gold pieces, cause fear, killer bees, queen bees, acid blobs, jackals, wolves, gargoyles, tengu, kobolds, water nymphs, mimics, scorpions, fire vortices, elementals, titans, minotaurs, ogres, water moccasins, trolls, wraiths, ghouls, ghosts, Geryon, Dispater, Asmodeus, electric eels, salamanders, monks, and loads of other things that Crawl and DCSS likely took from it. Newts would hardly be unprecedented.
