Give hex like indicator for heal other

I while ago I posted a suggestion to add a hex success chance indicator for heal other, and was told that a patch would be welcome but the dev team had better things to do. I got lost in the rabbit hole of crawl code and never made the patch, but I was planning on simple useing average max HP for the monster instead of the actual max HP. Now that the game already displayes the average max HP for a monster, maybe the game could use that instead of hp and we could have a success indicator for heal other without taking too much time from the dev team.

Yes. I don't think gameplay would be compromised by this approach.
