Dancing weapons and Gozag

Hi

I think it's a shame that dancing weapons are turned into gold when worshipping gozag

That's all I had to say

Re: Dancing weapons and Gozag

It's considered "balance". And also "adding an exception for this isn't worth it, just like with hides".

Re: Dancing weapons and Gozag

Personally, I'd rather that they basically be counted as creatures with no corpse, and their "weapon" drops afterwards. The Gozag interaction seems a little finicky when you consider that weapons wielded by others are not goldified.

Re: Dancing weapons and Gozag

It's a minor issue, so I'll look at it from a flavour point of view: Gozag certainly prefers the gold over some weapon.

Re: Dancing weapons and Gozag

I think this issue can be sidestepped to a certain extent. In my last DD game I had a few corpses generated in V:5 which I bribed, but I don't know if it were my allies, foes slain by allies, foes slain by neutrals, allies slain by neutrals or whatever. So my suggestion would be to make it consistent - if a player worships Gozag, corpses and remains of *all* monsters are turned to gold (unless they are summons).
