Wasting scrolls of mapping

Although the central place for design discussion is ##crawl-dev on freenode, some may find it helpful to discuss requests and suggestions here first.

Wasting scrolls of mapping

  Code:
As you read the scroll of magic mapping, it crumbles to dust.
_You feel aware of your surroundings.
As you read the scroll of magic mapping, it crumbles to dust.
_You feel momentarily disoriented.

This should never happen. Just block use of the scroll if you've already mapped the level

But you can't ever know that a level is fully mapped without reading a scroll magic mapping, giving the player that information for free is a weird information leak

(I suppose blocking it you have all ready read a mm scroll would be fine)

If it's not orc/slime then the entire level is contiguous, so if you're not blocked off from anything by water or exclusions you'll autoexplore the whole thing.

there's a dungeon vault that places a hallway + small room only reachable through a down stairs with a single altar in it, there's a depths "vault" that places a unreachable 3x1 room with a bunch of clubs/staves and a down stairs, etc.
