"It is faster than you'

It would be nice if the x-v description of a creature did more than just use an opaque word to describe the speed -- a thing that people playing races that aren't speed 10 often want to know is specifically whether a thing can outrun them.
Thus, the description of a creature's speed should be adapted to say "it is faster than you" or "it is slower than you" when appropriate.
Maybe "it is the same speed as you" should also be used for completeness. In this case you could actually omit the opaque word describing the creature's speed.
