Although the central place for design discussion is ##crawl-dev on freenode, some may find it helpful to discuss requests and suggestions here first.

Remove "Catching its breath" from monsters info

Its a false statement that mislead players into thinking the monster cannot use his breath weapon during his next turn.

Re: Remove "Catching its breath" from monsters info

I think it actually means "It was unable to use it's breath weapon on it's last turn" (If I'm not mistaken the breath timeout can expire on the same turn when a monster chooses to use it's breath weapon)

Probably a bit misleading, although given the way clock ticks and status's expire in crawl it's not surprising at all.

Re: Remove "Catching its breath" from monsters info

Monsters start "catching its breath" after using their breath weapon, information that is displayed during your turn but is recovered during theirs, there is no defined amount of time for a monster to catch its breath which means a monster can use its breath weapon 2 turns(or more) in a row. The most noticeable case are golden dragons.

Also catoblepases/catoblepae/whatever should probably have a breath timer too for consistency.
