Reflavour new!Spider Form as Scorpion Form

Since the speed of spider form went away, it has more in common with a scorpion (which is basically the same monster as spider but speed 10) and would be more intuitive as to what it does for you.

Significant code complexity, lots of unintuitive special cases about where exactly you could move to/from, minimal impact on actual play, ate into ice form's "can slowly float across deep water" niche.

This was two months ago, though of course there's no explanation of the reasoning in the commit message; that was all in IRC, unhelpfully.

in the crawl IRC channel you can query various server databases to look up player morgues and also get all kinds of stats based on the aggregate of all the morgues in the database. i don't know how it works either. must be tubes full of magnets.

Honestly though, it's not a bad idea. Without the "spider" things, isn't it really pretty much Scorpion form now?

The rename would probably result in less confusion by people unfamiliar with the capabilities of Spider Form versus Spiders.

I am against this on grounds that the current spiderman form tile is great and reflavoring would require a new tile, and this might get bloax involved in the new tilin'.

My only real objection to this is I don't consider scorpion's very "dodgy" and Spider Form's dodging probably at least as large if not a larger advantage in my head than the poison branded melee attack.
