Nerf resist corrosion slightly

Nerf resist corrosion slightly

Now that corrosion is no longer a permanent effect, it isn't really necessary for it to provide 90% resistance, like conservation did and resist mutation does. Why not bump it down to 66% so it's more along the lines of rfire/elec/pois/cold, so slime's difficulty is less dependent on you finding one specific item but it still helps?

Are you suggesting that the corrosion damage be lowered and that rCorr be nerfed to compensate (so that you take less damage with without rCorr, and the same damage with it)?

Or are you suggesting that TRJ and acid blobs do more damage to players when rCorr than they do now?

IMHO TRJ and acid blobs do enough damage as-is if you *are* wearing rCorr.

Not lowering the damage that you take if you don't have rCorr doesn't change the situation at all (i.e. you still can't do slime effectively without rCorr)

In order to have not using rCorr and doing slime be a viable choice for most characters (which it sounds like is the intention) you'd have to have a fairly reasonable chance of success without it. If most players have the perception that they currently can't take slime without rCorr, (solely) lowering the protection that rCorr gives, won't change that perception.

How about restoring cloaks of preservation as cloaks of acid resistance instead, so that there are at least two items that provide the needed resist?

Also, slimes do quite a bit of damage even with rcorr, I don't think it is necessary to effectively buff them.

rCorrosion gives 50% protection against the corrosion status effect as of a few days ago, matching its damage reduction.
