Seriously, that's just really obnoxious that you effectively cannot use holy wrath weapons.

but you can, you just can't curse them

Eventhough the "effectively cannot use" seems false to me, is there a reason why Ash followers couldn't curse holy wrath too? I mean Ash is portrayed to be the curse-freakin-master in the game.

I mean, you don't get a substantial skill buff if you can't curse it, so I view that as non-optimal.

Though admittedly, it was blowing my mind to have a bow as an Ash worshipper.

There's a lot of reasons why you'd want to keep the weapon hand uncursed as an Ash worshipper anyway, once you've got piety up. I don't see it as a big deal either way.
