Not as a question of balance, but why do Naga have higher AC bonus than half dragons, higher hp bonus than half bulls, and higher MR than elves? A related question, thematically it's understandable that deep dwarves get damage shaving, but why do they get as much hp gain as an ogre? Are there racial randarts (steaming dwarven axe of thunking + + - +)? I've never encountered one, but why wouldn't there be? How does better int, dex, and str infer being part god? Just some thoughts as I debate what to make my next crawl character.
