Appearance of player trolls and ogres

Is there any possibility in making the playable troll and ogre tiles look more monstrous like their enemy tile counterparts? Right now, they look exactly like humans except colored green or brown, while the enemy versions look much more appropriate.

Also, how come all of the player tiles with the exception of the felids, octopodes, centaurs, and nagas are all exactly the same size? I feel it would be more appropriate to have the player trolls and ogres at least have a larger appearance than the other races. Or at least, I'm wondering why they decided to have the troll and ogre tiles appear the way they do. Thanks!

The armour would have to be redraw for each new body type.

And it doesn't really add anything to the game.

It would add ambience, and let you feel like you're actually playing as an ogre or troll and not as say a green human. That wouldn't count as adding anything to the game?

By all means, submit a patch along with some new tiles.

I have to say, I love to make tiles, but just thinking about trying to do this makes my head hurt.

(I still might make better-looking player draconian heads someday).

They look like Halloween heads to me... eh. I could do with them being edited to look less ridiculous.

Re: Appearance of player trolls and ogres

if this were to be done, it would be better to give up the ability to see their equipment on the Ogre/Troll doll - just show a generic set. However, now you're giving up information for flavour. I never use the doll to see what I'm wearing, but there could be people that do.
