examining and los

non-gdd-friendly concept described in this my thread viewtopic.php?f=17&t=9345

examining a monster should show their los, maybe in yellow! currently you have to place a travel exclusion on an enemy to see their los, like so:

it takes like a million button presses. seeing the los that time i pressed ctrl+x n n n l l l l e e e esc to place and remove the exclusion when it could just be a feature of e'x'amine. im ready to help. lets get it going!

Re: examining and los

Is there no indication in console what the extent of your own line of sight is? Monster and player LOS is reciprocal.

E: Oh, ok, I read your other thread second. What you describe would be an interesting feature.

Re: examining and los

Wholeheartedly agree with OP. When playing a stabber I end up doing this a lot, not having to place/remove exclusions would be wonderful.

Re: examining and los

maybe in yellow

I think yellow is already used to show a spell path such as bolt of fire. Plenty of other colours to choose from though. Maybe cyan?
