Did I do something wrong or was that just the randomness factor kicking me in the balls? (like am i supposed to take off my armor when I ask for armor or something like that?) Im figuring its just a sh**ty roll but for my first ever ScrofAcq I guess I just had unrealistically high expectations.. = (

Scrolls of acquirement frequently give you terrible things. Get used to disappointment!

If you wait until you've seen something in each armour slot, it won't be weighted towards the empty slot. I don't know if that makes you more likely to get something good.

I think it does, but not much. I would still recommend using it after you've seen most of vanilla equipment.

Thanks guys, that makes sense. That explains the cap on my MiFi. And there is no disappointment great enough to dampen my adoration/obsession with this amazing game(although it certainly does seem to be trying sometimes = P)

If you didn't have a hat already it's actually not that bad of an acquirement. You might never see another soft hat all game (you can't wear helmets with horns), and it's already +1 so it's like a hat and scroll of enchant armour in one. Better than the -6 Ring Mail of Garbage it can gift. Or the shield for your big-two-handed-weapon guy.

Yeah thinking about it after the fact it was really not too bad especially with the stories im hearing about -6 useless items of pissing you the hell off other people are reporting getting with them. At least it was somewhat useful = )
