Downside of gargoyle?

Seems like the race got so many innate abilities since the first time I played Gargoyle. So it has rPois, rElec, rN, resistance to torment, AC bonus, two auxiliary attacks, slow metabolism, can survive without breathing (don't know what this does, maybe something to do with curare?), permanent flight, and finally petrification immunity?

Bot say the race has low hp. Is that all? I'm having the impression that this race is definitely better than the late sludge elf and other races. How does it stay balanced despite so much race traits?

Well most of those things aren't very useful, whereas low HP is a thing that actually matters.

Gargoyles have the same HP/MP/MR as Kobold, better aptitudes and much better innate abilities.

Though unless you compensate your low HP with EV (you're guaranteed to have big AC) or have methods to kill things fast at range, you'll have a rough time later on.

They have wings; I'd say prevent them from wearing cloaks.
