Help with TrBe
Currently getting into a decent TrBe game. My last one died horribly to a hydra that I just could not escape from.
My question is, I know I cannot attack hydras. Someone suggested "large rocks" as a way of dealing with them. I haven't found any so far. What are my other options? I seem to be picking up lots of weapons, including a god given staff that is no doubt quite powerful, but I am specced for unarmed combat; so havent used any weapons at all. I throw stones at things (to damage them a little as they close to melee range) but I have all my training going into UC at the moment.
Whats the consensus about how to deal with hydrae? Wand them down? Polymorph them into something else? Use a bow and arrow? Some kind of other weapon (Even though I have no skill in that weapon)
Any suggestions welcome, I want to finish lair at some point soon and I don't think I can do that till I can deal with Hydra.

Final couple of questions...
Is it worth using enchant weapon scrolls on my claws? does it have any effect?
Whats the deal with scrolls of identify? Sometimes I seem to be able to identify 5-6 different potions, sometimes only one. Can someone explain please?
