When does Inner Flame cause hostility in a (temp) ally?

I know that zombies and skeletons remain allied, but what about other types?

Because attacking allies makes them hostile?

It's not a charm, it's a hex. A hostile magical/psychological attack that requires the target to try to resist with their magical resistance before succumbing to the threat of immolation!

In my experience, the only attack allies tend ot ignore are "blanket attacks" that they 'reason' may have hit them by accident. So stuff like Ice-storm and fire-storm, for example. Or walking into a conjured flame. Even then you have to be careful, since by my logic tornado and shatter should be fine but both of them provoke the ire of those attacked.

I think if it's animal intelligence or lower, it won't get angry. Normal and above rebel.

Inner flame an enemy, and then enslave it. Makes for fun times as long as your new buddy doesn't decide to blow up when he's next to you
