Advice on labyrinth

Hi! I have entered a labyrinth, and close to the center I've found some walls made of unnaturally hard rock, which I thought was the abode of the minotaur. However, I've searched all sections of it (search skill 5) without finding a door, and is starting to get pretty hungry, with only a bread ration left to eat.... Would you guys say that I should keep searching, or is it likely that the minotaur/exit is elsewhere?

I've never found the door to the exit room to be hidden, or found any other hidden doors in the labyrinth for that matter. The exit room is always much bigger than what is in that screenshot also. I'd say go look elsewhere.

That vault looks to be too close to the non-metal area. Go north-east.

Ok, thanks for the quick replies Just thought that these kinds of walls meant it was the exit Guess I'll go look a bit further.

-edit- Turns out ne was a good tip - now I just have to survive the fight
