Armour, dodging and transformations

Are the Armour dodging skills useful while transformed? I'm guessing that dodging but not armour helps in spider form and both armour and dodging help in ice form.

I guess I'm wondering if armour is buffing me when I'm an ice beast. If not, I should wait to train armour for blade hands.

Why would you be training armor anyway, unarmed goes so well with dodging.

Chei's str bonuses might make it worth training.

Also, I have a Pearl dragon armour. 10 armour, -3 evasion, rN++ I think. Enchantable to +10. I'm excited to try some endgame action with high AC and EV!

I've never even seen a pearl dragon. Are they like only in Zigs or something?

They don't generate anywhere yet, it's just the armour that does. It's rN+.
