Haste and Controlled Blink at the same time

My character knows Haste now and has a possibility to learn Controlled Blink. I'd preffer not to experiment now, because it's my best character ever. Can I use Haste and Controlled Blink at the same time considering magic contamination?

Wizard mode, use it. Make a throwaway character, create the necessary books and set the necessary skill/ XP levels, learn, and cast away.

Short answer: 1 cBlink should be fine with Haste. Any more and it's a risk.

Remember that an alive character lightly mutated is better that a dead character genetically pure.

Haste plus Controlled Blink will have you glowing quite a bit. But like nago said, better to be alive and lightly mutated then dead; you just save Controlled Blink for those GTFO moments.
