Which armor is better

So I picked up really nice +14(!) plate with +4 dex

Xtahua was also kind enough to donate his skin, and I have enough enchant armor to take it up to +6 or so.

Is it worth going to fire dragon hide as a minor casting Centaur hunter, or is the +14 too stupidly good to pass up?

P.S. I have no real resistance gear to speak of, but 2 +4, +6 rings of slaying that I could take off if I needed to patch something up.

+14 plate is extremely good. Unless you really need the rF++ from the fda I would wear the plate.

+14 Plate Armor is pretty stupidly good, not to mention it has +4 Dex and your a Ranged Weapon Specialist. Try to find a couple rF+ intrinsic on other pieces of equipment though, else then Xtahua's Hide will start to merit a few enchants for when you eventually find Orbs of Fire and other dangerous Flaming enemies.
