What are your favourite tactics

One thing I like about DCSS is the way different things can be used together. What are some of your favourite things?

Some of mine:

Inner flame + Enslavement - turn an enemy into your own suicide bomber!
Confuse monsters near water and drown them
Conjure Flame on water - make a smoke screen for a fast get-away
Bouncing lightning for multiple hits on a target
Control Teleport + Blink
Ensorcelled hibernation + stabbing

I'm not feeling that creative obviously. Has anyone got more creative tactics or combinations?

Meph+imps is fun, the imps being immune to poison.
Petrify+LRD is also fun, your own little bombs.

Summon elemental + LRD. Like petrify+LRD but you don't need to pass any MR check.
Shatter + Death Channel (the spectral monsters are immune to shatter).
Bolt of draining + Haunt.
Poisonous Cloud + Ignite Poison.
Conjure ball lightning in a corridor + Control Teleport + Blink.

Other methods of stabbing:
Ashenzari's monster detection + Passwall + Stabbing.
Control Teleport + Teleport + Stabbing.
Controlled Blink + Stabbing.

I used a wand of enslavement on a spore once. I made it attack a pack of orcs in early game, it was kinda cool. I used to ditch them right when I IDed them but I keep one around sometimes just for the lulz. Ogre beating on a jelly on d4? I can deal with that.
