Who's Fannar and is he dangerous?

I have a pretty nice XL9 Purple DrSu of Veh, and on D:10 I ran into this unique I've never seen before. He doesn't have a wiki entry and he spams Ozucubu's Refrigeration. Should I be afraid?

Look him up on the knowledge bots, not the wiki.

I cant really answer your question. Every time I've met him he has been a pushover, though. The first time I saw him I used brothers in arms and the ogre killed him in a few seconds, the second time I blew him up with a single orb of destruction.

You should be safe if you treat him like any other unique; AKA spam summons and stay out of vision.

he's also a more-or-less guaranteed source of ice enhancers/cold resistance. imho it's a small (he of course may not spawn; i assume his high spawn rate is temporary) but significant step away from pure dungeon randomness.

Actually he has a one in three chance to have a staff of cold instead of ring of ice + staff of freezing. I don't have a wiki account, so someone else will have to edit that in.
