SpHu - Not a suggested combo?

Alright, quick question about this:

Why aren't SpHus a "recommended combo" as far as the game is concerned? They have good bow apts. They have amazing speed to kite with. They start with/have good apts for short blades. They have good apts for getting supportive spells online (which work great with ranged combat), and they can sacrifice every corpse they come across to Okawaru/Trog for ammo and bow gifts.

Its a better combo then most of the suggested hunter builds, from the looks of it. The only downside is they only start with 8 str, so you will probably need to invest in some str points to carry around reasonable stack sizes.

Am I missing something?

Also Sp** is going to be pretty good because you are playing a spriggan.

Aha! I forgot about Spriggans size meaning they cant use longbows. Thanks.

I had a similar argument for MfHu recently, except my guy used javelins and a trident.
