So, I'm playing a DEWz, and just found this in Lair:


Guardian Spirit is not something I'd usually seek out on a caster -- while it gives me a lot of MP to turn into HP, my worry is that all I've got is spells, and running out of MP is a bad thing -- eg, I NEED TO BLINK RIGHT NOW. But running out of HP is an even worse deal.

Then again, I have other escape tools, so maybe it's not a huge deal? The rN and MR sure are nice.

What are your thoughts as to Spirit for a squishy caster?

You pretty much answered your own question. Casters need MP to do anything and you have plenty of escape tools (that rely on MP).

But, y'know, on any non-caster, that hat is awesome.

There could be an unrandart that has both Guardian Spirit and MP+9.
