Dungeon Crawlers' Combos of Choice

Which combos do you like the most? Are there any good no-spell combos?

An example of a traditional combo is Imps + Mephitic Cloud; another good combo is Petrify + Rapid Deconstruction (Shatterflesh) or Petrify + Inner Flame + Rapid Deconstruction.
More elaborate combos may include deliberate use of wands of random effects, healing an opponent or projecting some noise to stray a few opponents away.

Mephitic/Poisonous Cloud + Ignite Poison.
Ensorcelled Hibernation + Bolt of Inaccuracy.
Vulnerability + Polymorph.
Tomb + Vitrification + smiting spell.

Re: Dungeon Crawlers' Combos of Choice

Inner Flame + Fireball / Bolt of Fire. Especially if you manage to innerflame a few weak hostile summons that can't get to you or a few undead thralls. Even though it is hard to perform this combo, it can take out literally any enemy you will meet in the regular Dungeon branches -- except some from the Realm of Zot, I guess.

Another good choice is Sticky Flame + Inner Flame on the coward.

Rain of Fedhas Madash + a weapon (of electrocution). A very convenient replacement of Liquefaction.

Polymorph an armed enemy, make him move away from his items, pick up his weapon and make it Dance. Could be nice with the help that Ashenzari provides.
More useful for the hilarious effect.

If you follow the code of Fedhas Madash, think about carrying a corpse of a weak opponent with you whenever you can. If you encounter a group of enemies in a sutiation you don't want to be in, throw a corpse there and ask it to spit out a spore.

This is mostly a complete shit move because polymorphed humanoids into other humanoids shouldn't drop their weapons.

Do note: I'm complaining about the crappy humanoid - humanoid morphing item drop event rather than your tactic, actually.

I dunno. I'd probably drop whatever I was carrying if someone turned me into a kobold.

Orb of Destruction + Fire/Ice Storm = for when you must absolutely, positively, make something explode.

Orb of Destruction + Enemy Orb of Destruction = Dangerous but hilarious if it works

Zombies/Skeletons + Mephitic/Poisonous Cloud = Undead slaves slaughtering poisoned and confused enemies

I'm quite sure this is by design. There are 'eyes behind glass' vaults for exactly this type of fun.

This is not a combo: more of a special key to this battle group. This won't work reliably on most other enemies. And it is just enslavement.
