Trog's giving me needles?

Of all the silly things, Trog's giving my MiBe needles. I did use poisoned needles once against a moderately scary enemy, but now I'm wielding a halberd of venom. So finally I get my first gift and they're needles of sleeping. Then I get another gift: needles of curare. What am I supposed to do, make him a quilt?

Unless your Throwing is decent, Trog won't give you many needles. Two needle gifts in a row might just be bad luck. (Although curare needles are nice.)

Yeah, they do seem to come in handy. Trog finally came around and gave me a couple of axes. The first was a +3,+3 battleaxe of chopping and now I have an executioner's axe of venom. So I'm pretty satisfied. Now to deal with incessant hunger...
