Not sure if it is a bug with Polymorph
I just used a wand of Polymorph other on a Snake (HD 2, according to Wiki) on D:2 and it turned into a orange rat (HD 3, according to Wiki).
Ain't Polymorph supposed to create a new enemy of equal HD?
(My poor XL 3 char didn't stand a chance against the rat and went down in a single turn from full HP ...)
