Is there any way to turn off the auto butcher feature in 0.25? It annoys me, and I find it visually distracting...

in your rcfile.

To answer the unasked question, the setting you should use is

auto_butcher = hungry

This will only butcher when you are hungry, then you'll eat it, and keep going. Just press o, everything's done for you!

If you're a troll I recommend: auto_butcher = full
