Is there a way to see the spell descriptions after learning a spell? In the memorization menu, the second screen gives you access to clear-text descriptions of the spell, but once you have learned it, the spell screen only gives you two screens of vital statistics, and I can't find a way to see the clear text.

No, that doesn't do it - that gives me the spell stats, but not the plain-text description.

I recently had the same problem - but yes, you can.

Use the help menu, type
?/
and select 'S' for spell.

Excellent, that does it. But I'd really like to have a less roundabout way to do this...

The I menu does show the description. You just have to select the spell whose description you want to read.
