Noob question re:Skills

Quick and nooby question.

Do skills count if they aren't trained to the full number?

E.g is 10.1 in spellcasting better than 10? Or do you need 11 to see any benefit?

Does this apply to all skills?

Yes, they count, and yes this is true for all skills.

It's true but for some skills you have real thresholds.

For example, every 0,5 level of spellcasting will give you one spell slot. Or for weapon skills, every round 2 levels will give you -0.1 mindelay (up to weapon mindelay)

I think your weapon speed example is not correct. When your attack speed is not rounded for your skill level, the attack speed seems to be randomized for every attack according to your skill - higher skill means higher chance for a lower speed.

You do not get an extra max mana point 20% of the time though.

^ same goes for AC, training armor/dodging skill has some break points/jumps as it does not appear the game uses fractional AC or EV.

But for AC/EV the breakpoints are more often not at integer values.
